Anyzewski, Julia (5 Feb 1891 – 8 Aug 1973)

Funeral services for Julia Anyzewski were held at 10:30 a.m., August 11, 1973 at the St. Hedwig’s Chapel. Burial was in the Parish Cemetery (Old St. Hedwig’s). Reverend J. Puerner and Reverend F. Brockman officiated. She passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 1973 at the Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, after a long illness of 26 ½ years.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Wendell, Phillips and Gregory Hottmann, Robert Boley, La Verne Endres and Joseph Pawlak, a nephew.

She was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on February 5, 1891, and lived there until her marriage to Frank Anyzewski July 7, 1915. Since then she has resided in Thorp, Wisconsin. She attended local schools, Emerson High and the Normal School, now the Wisconsin University. She taught schools in Portage and Clark County before her marriage. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Rose Razner.

She is survived by one son, Roman of Arcadia, California; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Clara Leverich.

Her parents, husband and only daughter, Alyce, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance and The National Catholic Society of Foresters.

Friends and relatives from Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids and Arcadia, California attended the funeral.
