Frank, Leonard A. (24 May 1916 – 20 September 1979)
Leonard A. Frank, 63, Merrillan died in Black River Memorial Hospital Thursday,
September 20. He had been a resident of the Pine View Home at Black River Falls
for the past two years. He was born in the Town of Mentor to George and Ida
Frank, on May 24, 1916. He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include two brothers, Harold of Merrillan and Walter of Hillsboro,
four sisters, Hazel Lange of Bloomer, Doris Davis of Rickford, Ill., Irene Tande
of Cypress, Calif., and Bernice Garber of Merrillan.
Services were held Monday afternoon at Grace Lutheran Church in Alma Center with
the Rev. Merlin Sassman officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery at Alma
Center. The Jensen Funeral Home at Hixton was in charge of arrangements.
