Polzin, Myrtle D.(18 February 1902 – 19 September 1979)
Word was recently received of the death of Mrs. Myrtle D. Polzin, 77, of
Sturdevant and a former resident of Neillsville. She died Wednesday, September
19, in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Racine.
The former Myrtle Wren was born February 18, 1902, in Minnesota and was married
at Neillsville in April 1930, to Louis J. Polzin.
Survivors include three daughters, five sons, grandchildren, four sisters, and
two brothers. Sisters in Neillsville include Mrs. Dorothy Karnitz and Miss Helen
Wren and a brother, Gilbert Wren. She was preceded in death by her husband in
1955 and also by one daughter.
Services were held Saturday morning, September 22, at the Strouf-Sheffield
Funeral Home, Racine, with the Rev. Daniel Hanners of the Church of God
officiating. Burial took place in Westlawn Memorial Park, Racine.
