Thomas, Kathleen Ruth (1919 – 20 September 1979)
A former Humbird resident, Kathleen Ruth Thomas, 60, passed away last Thursday,
September 20, in a Blue Island, Illinois, hospital. The deceased a South
Holland, Illinois, resident, was born as Kathleen Shotwell in Humbird. She later
married Herman Thomas.
Surviving here, besides her husband, are two sons, James of South Holland and
Eugene of Midlothian, Illinois, two brothers, Lowell of Humbird and Fredrick of
Somerset and one grandchild.
Graveside services were held September 23, at the Houghtonburg Cemetery,
Humbird, with the Jensen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
