Suda, Genevieve I. (13 October 1979)

Genevieve I. Suda and Earl G. Payne were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, October 13, ceremonies in Calvary Lutheran Church, Neillsville, conducted by the Rev. Paul Forde.

The bride, resided at 446 Hewett St., Neillsville, is the daughter of Albin and the late Genevieve Kurtinatis, Withee. The groom, a Rt. 2 Neillsville resident, is the son of Mrs. Verna Payne 409 Clay St., Neillsville and the late Wesley Payne.

With the father of the bride presenting her to the altar, the new Mrs. Payne chose a soft mint green gown of floor length and featuring a matching silk overlay. She caried red roses, yellow daisies and baby’s breath, all in a cascade.

Mary Spencer, Neillsville, was the maid of honor. She was attired in a floor length multi-colored print gown and carried a bouquet similar to the brides.

Harley Miller, Neillsville, served as bestman. Ushering were Kevin Payne of Milwaukee and Chuck Miller of Neillsville.

Following the service, a reception was held at Turner’s Inn, Neillsville. Prenuptial events included a shower hosted by Mary Spencer.

The bride, a graduate of District I Technical Institute, Eau Claire, is a nurse’s assistant in Neillsville Memorial Home. The groom attended Neillsville schools and is employed by Nelson Muffler, Neillsville. The couple will make their home on Rt. 2 Neillsville.
