Lindner, Herbert (28 August 1936 – 5 October 1979)

Herbert Lindner, 48, Sheboygan Falls, and formerly of Greenwood, died in the Sheboygan Memorial Hospital October 5, 1979, after a lengthy illness.

Lindner, son of Anton and Margaret (Kreuser) Lindner, was born August 28, 1936, in Greenwood. He was married May 9, 1959, to Lois Hinz at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Plymouth. He attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1954.

In 1963, he was a Standard Oil agent, serving the Plymouth and Sheboygan Falls are in 1968, he was employed by the Sheboygan County Farm Cooperative in Waldo. Then he purchased the Johnsonville Feed Mill in 1973 and owned and operated it with the Waldo Seed Mill, which he also purchased in 1975. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and its ushee3rs club. He was very active in bowling leagues.

Surviving him are his wife and six children, who all at home. They are Susan, Sarah, Nancy, Joyce, Dale, and Mark; two brothers, Renold of Edgar and William of Greenwood; five sisters, Mrs. Lyle (Patricia) Christie of Eau Claire, Mrs. Kenneth (Jane) Duyen of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Mary Lynn of River Falls, Miss Elizabeth Lindner of Eau Claire, and Deborah Lindner of Boulder, Colo., And his mother, Mrs. Margaret Lindner of Eau Claire, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Theresa Kreuser, Loyal, also survive. His father, Anton, is deceased.

Those attending the funeral from this area were Mr./Mrs. William Lindner, Mr./Mrs. Tom Lindner, Mrs. Katherine Lindner, Mrs. Loriena Lindner, Mr./Mrs. Vincent Lindner, Mr./Mrs. Carl Lindner, Mrs. Irene Wilke, Mr./Mrs. Gerald Denk and Mr./Mrs. Ronald Kitzhaber.
