Brown, Caroline “Carol” P. (30 May 1946 – 10 October 2021)

Caroline “Carol” P. Brown, age 75, of Loyal, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the Marshfield Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Carol was born on May 30, 1946, in Spooner, the daughter of Frederick and Gertrude (Bender) Barfknecht. She graduated from Owen-Withee High School and received an associate degree from Northwood Technical College in New Richmond. On June 20, 1964, Carol was united in marriage to Warren “Butch” Brown in Withee.

Carol had a love for animals and raised dachshunds. She also liked pet grooming, crocheting, sewing, fishing and camping. Most importantly, Carol loved and cherished her family.

Carol is survived by her three children: Linda (Karl) Kreuscher of Medford, Trudy (Adam) Konopka of Poplar Grove, IL and Daniel (Amber) Brown of South Lake Tahoe, CA; nine grandchildren: Ashley Zettler, CJ (Mara) Kreuscher, Violet, Bonnie, Haley and Brodrick Konopka, Laney (Kaelin) Ippolito, Devin and Patrick Brown; six great-grandchildren: Kaylee and Memphis Zettler, Chloe Bucki, Leina and Nora Kreuscher and Kyllyan Ippolito. She is further survived by her sister, Martha (Roger) Frederick of Effingham KS and her cousin, Patricia Ritter of Granton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her biological mother, Joyce Stanford.
