Diers, Cheri (Honor - 1979)
A special program was held on Sunday, November 18, of the Alpha Lambda Delta, a
scholastic honor society, of the UW-Eau Claire. Twenty-six undergraduates
attended the initiation and reception. Included among the group was Cheri Diers,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Diers, Rt. 2 Neillsville.
To be accepted, a student must have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade point
average during their entire freshman year. Each member was pinned and received
an honor certificate. Valena H. Burke, associate dean of students, was guest
speaker.
Mr. and Mrs. Diers attended the imitation and reception.
