Christensen, Minnie ( 1885 - 1979)

Mrs. Rasmine (Minnie) Christensen, 94, a Greenwood resident since 1976, died Friday afternoon, November 23, in the Neillsville Memorial Home, where she had been a resident.

The deceased, nee Anderson, was born on August 4, 1885, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and attended schools there. She came to the United States in 1911 and moved to the Thief River Falls, Mn., area. She was married there on March 22, 1912, to John Christensen and the couple moved to Bagley, Mn., in 1920.

Mrs. Christensen worked with her husband, an oil distributor. He died in 1964 and she then lived in Brookston, Mn., and Whitehall, before coming to the Greenwood area.

Surviving here are two sons, John of Snoqualmie, Wa., and Dale of Plainwell, Mi.; daughter, Mrs. William G. Copham, Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary.

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 29, from the Cease Funeral home in Bagley, Mn., with the Rev. Dale Grover of the Bagley Bible Church officiating. Burial was made in the Bagley City Cemetery.
