Hankins, Louis (17 August 1908 – 2 December 1979)
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, December 5, from the Gilbertson
Funeral Home in Granton for Louis Hankins, 71, of Rt. 1 Granton. Hankins passed
away on the evening of December 2, in Neillsville Memorial Hospital. Officiating
at the Granton service was Steve Ware of Neillsville. Burial and another
serviced were held in Crown Point, Indiana, last Friday.
The deceased was born on August 17, 1908, in Shelby County, Indiana, to William
and Susan (Naylar) Hankins. On September 18, 1935, he married Catherine Hankins
in East Chicago, Indiana, ceremonies. He worked as a mechanic and in 1968 moved
to the Town of Lynn.
Surviving him, besides his wife, is one son, Russel of Colorado Springs,
Colorado, two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Roberta) Sabol of Colorado Springs and
Mrs. Daniel (Rhonda) Foemmel of Chili; and three grandchildren.
