Fitzmaurice, Charlene Ann (29 December 1979)
Charlene Ann Fitzmaurice and Dennis Alan Wallace were united in marriage on the
afternoon of December 29 in St. John’s United Church of Christ, Humbird. The
bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Fitzmaurice, Neillsville, and the
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Wallace, Humbird.
Officiating at the service was the Rev. Alvin Ebert of Chippewa Falls. Giving
the bride away was her father.
Serving as maid of honor was Nancy Fitzmaurice, the bride’s sister from
Neillsville; and bestman was Dana R. Wallace, the groom’s twin brother. Paula
Wallace of Humbird, a sister of the groom, ushered.
The bride was attired in a satin dress made by her mother, Evylen, and which
featured a scooped neckline, high waistline, train and fingertip veil. She
caried a bouquet of assorted blue and white carnations and a single red rose.
The bridesmaid caried light blue silk roses. The groom chose a navy-blue suit
with velvet collar and vest, a light blue ruffled shirt and dark blue bow tie.
The bestman was similarly attired.
Following the service, a reception was held in the church parlors. A wedding
trip will be held at a later date.
The bride who is now a senior in Neillsville High School, is working as a helper
at the Neillsville Memorial Home. The groom is a 1978 graduate of Lincoln High
School, Alma Center, and is employed by Nelson Muffler in Neillsville. The
couple were to make their home in Neillsville.
