Draeger, Fred J. (3 Aug 1885 – 17 Sep 1973)

Fred J. Draeger, resident of Stanley, passed away at the Victory Memorial Hospital Monday noon.

He was born August 3, 1885 in Germany, son of Herman and Ernestine Draeger. He came to the United States in 1887 and settled in the Wausau area. On November 25, 1905 he was untied in marriage to Anna Auguste at Wausau. The lived there for five years and then moved to Everett, Washington, where they made their home for six years.

Mr. Draeger is survived by two sons, Irvin of Route 2, Thorp, and Clarence of Route 1, Augusta; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley (Myrtle) Decker of Salem Oregon, and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Funeral services were tentatively set for Thursday afternoon, today.
