Sobolewski, Mr./Mrs. Anton (60th – 22 Sep 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Anton Sobolewski, former Thorp area residents, celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary, September 23, 1973, with a mass celebrated by Father Leonard Kaiser in Holby Family Church, Stanley, followed by dinner at the Thorpedo Restaurant.

Anton Sobolewski and Katherine Ciok were married on September 22, 1913 at Passaic, New Jersey. After living there for tw years, they farmed in the Thorp area until their retirement in 1961.

They have four children: Mrs. Frank (Lottie) Jastczemaki, Norridge, Illinois; Henry Sobolewski, Norridge, Illinois; Mrs. Albert (Helen) Lehnert, Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Joseph (Caroline) Lato, Stratford, Wisconsin, and ten grandchildren.
