Plaman, Joan (23 December 1932 – 6 January 1980)
Mrs. Marlyn Plaman, 47, Mequon, died January 6, of an apparent heart attack. The
deceased, the former Joan Siever, was born December 23, 1932, in Milwaukee. She
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gerhard of Willard and Stephen Siever of
Wauwatosa.
The deceased was married on July 31, 1960, to Marlyn Plaman. The couple lived in
Milwaukee until 1973, when they moved to their new home in Mequon.
Surviving her besides her husband and parents, are three sons, Dr. Michael
Plaman of Albuquerque, N.M., and Andrew and David, both at home, one brother,
Stephen Siever, Wauwatosa, and one sister, Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Matosek,
Milwaukee.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning, January 9, from St. James
Catholic Church in Mequon. Entombment was made in Milwaukee. Serving as
pallbearers were nephews. The Shrank-Dussow Funeral Home of Thiensville was in
charge of arrangements.
