Makie, Kim (DAR Candidate - 1980)
Selected as Neillsville High School’s DAR candidate was Kim Makie, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Makie, 820 East Second St., Neillsville. A senior, Kim was
among a number of candidates selected by her classmates and finally chosen by
the faculty for the honor. She was chosen on the basis of service in school and
community, patriotism, responsibility, leadership and dependability. The local
honor qualifies her for state and national competition leading to possible
scholarships.
