Army Private First Class William J. Semanko, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence R.
Semanko, Route 1, Gilman, Wis., participated with other American and Allied
troop in Exercise Reforter’V in Germany October 10 – 16, 1973.
The military airlift command flew approximately 11,000 U.S. based soldiers and
more than 1,000 tons of equipment to three different airfields in Germany in
preparation for the event.
Pvt. Semanko is regularly assigned as a medical corpsman in Headquarters
Company, 1st Infantry Division’s 28 Infantry at Ft. Riley, Kansas.
His wife, Kathleen, is with him in Kansas.
