Marie Oberle of the Thorp High School delivered her prize winning speech to the
Cark County Board of Supervisors at the fall session. Marie represented Clark
County in the Area Environmental Awareness Speaking Contest at Menomonie on
October 27, 1973. She received third place in her division at the area contest.
