With the swishing of skirts and the tramping of boots, the Polish Folk Dancers
of Thorp have been entertaining people in Wisconsin. Their program is varied
from the stately Polonaise to the gay and lively Krakowiak Members of the groop
represent a cross section of vocations, with ages ranging from 8 to over 30. In
the past years the Dancers have traveled several hundred miles to entertain. An
invitation is extended to anyone wishing to dance with this group, as they start
their winter dance practice sessions learning new dances.
The group includes Virginia Burzinski, Tom and Mary Ogurek, Ed Chura, Elaine
Fijalkiewicz, Danny Koterik, Ed and Mary Ann Bieno, Pete, Judy, Jody and Peggy
Burzinski, Janice and Cecelia Chura. Ed and Josephine Kotecki, Frank and Terry
Ogurek, Ed and Rosemary Pszeniczny, Roger Trucke, Joe and Mary Ann Truckey, Joe
Possley, Stash Losiewicz and Wally Zielinski.
