Wucki, Robert W. (23 June 1911 –31 January 1980)
A longtime Town of Washburn retired farmer, Robert W. Wucki, 68, was buried
early Monday afternoon, February 4, following services from the Gesche Funeral
Home, Neillsville. Officiating at the services was the Rev. Gary Clark of the
Neillsville United Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Neillsville City
Cemetery.
Wucki, who had been a resident of Larsen for the past 18 months, died at his
home on January 31. He was born on June 23, 1911, in Chicago to Walter and Mary
Wucki. As a small boy, he moved with his parents to the Town of Washburn, where
he received his education. On April 25, 1943, he married Lillian Holonbek, in
Neillsville ceremonies. The couple farmed in the Town of Washburn for over 40
years. After the death of his wife in mid-1977, the deceased retired to Larson,
where one of his daughters resides.
Surviving him is one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Irene) Linstedt, Larsen; one son,
Walter, Omro; his father, Walter, Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. John (Helen) Cook,
Oshkosh; one brother, Bernard, Omro; and four grandchildren. Preceding him in
death besides his wife, was his mother.
