Kroening, Joyce Sandra (10 January 1946 – 7 November 2021)
Joyce S. Kroening, 75, Loyal, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at
Marshfield Health Services under the care of Heartland Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately by family at a later date. Updated
information will be posted here when it becomes available.
Joyce was born on January 10, 1946, in Wisconsin Rapids; the daughter of Henry
and Mary (Thiemke) Darr. She was employed at Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest
for many years as a campground host. She enjoyed the outdoors, flowers and
plants.
Those that will cherish her memory include her children: Tammie (Rick) Petri,
Shannon (Toni) Kroening, Dawn Mortensen, Terri Paul, Hollie Bowden and Diane
Meyer; her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; her brothers, Ralph Darr,
Roger Darr and Dale (Cheryl) Darr and her sister, Ellen Hoffman along with many
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Darr; two sisters,
Betty Mueller and Shirley Lawrence and two brothers, David and Everett Darr.
She will be missed dearly by family, friends, loved ones and campers near and
far.
Joyce’s arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer.
