Frances Neiman, 90, passed away at Victory Memorial Nursing Home, Stanley,
Saturday, February 2, 1974.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s – St. Bernard’s Church, Tuesday,
February 5, 1974, with burial being made in Old St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.

Neiman, Frances (26 Sep 1883 – 2 Feb 1974)
Frances Neiman, 90, passed away at Victory Memorial Nursing Home, Stanley, on
Saturday, February 2, 1974. Funeral services were held at St. Bernard’s - St.
Hedwig’s Parish on Tuesday, February 5, 1974, ten a.m., with Rev. John Puerner
officiating. Burial was made in the St. Hedwig’s Parish Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Stanley Laszuk, Walter Laszuk, Louis Wojtkiewicz, Eugene
Zakrzewicz, Frank Lesniewski, and James Schiserl.
Frances Zakrzewicz was born September 26, 1883 in Poland. After coming to the
states she resided in Chicago, St. Paul and settled in Thorp. She was united in
marriage October 14, 1902 at St. Hedwig’s Church, Thorp to Frank Neiman, who
preceded her in death.
She belonged to the choir for many years, and also was with the Rosary and Altar
societies. She served on the Clark County Board as a social worker for many
years. She held the post as president several times for the Legion Auxiliary and
the post of secretary of the P.R.C.U.
Surviving are one son, Alex Neiman of Wausau; three grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren; one brother, Louis Zakrzewicz of Chicago, and one sister,
Agnes Thomas of North Lake, Ill.

Mrs. Helen Tytor, residing at the Victory Memorial Nursing Home, and a brother,
Alex Zakrzewicz, address unknown. These were left out unintentionally.)
