Hemp, Lorraine D. (30 June 1926 – 16 March 1980)
Funeral services were held early Wednesday afternoon, March 19, from the Gesche
Funeral Home for Lorraine D. Hemp, 53, of Rt. 4 Neillsville. The deceased passed
away Sunday morning, March 16, in St, Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, after a
brief illness.
The deceased was born June 30, 1926, in the Town of Weston to Ervin W. and Eva
(Poppe) Hemp. She attended the Town of Weston and Fairview School and lived with
her parents, helping them on the farm, until her death. She is survived by her
parents.
The Rev. Gary Clark of the Neillsville United Church of Christ officiated, with
burial being made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
