Gove, George (10 October 1903 – 21 March 1980)
George Gove, 76, of Greenwood died early Friday morning, March 21, in St.
Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient for seven days.
The deceased was born on October 10, 1903, in Clark County. He was employed on a
farm in the Withee area before coming to Greenwood in 1963 to reside at a home
for the aged.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, March 24, from the Rinka Funeral
Home in Greenwood. The Rev. Donald Adams of the Grace United Methodist Church
officiated with burial made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
