Ralph Miller, Withee, and Dorothy Romanowski, Stanley, exchanged wedding vows at
8:00 p.m. on January 30, 1974 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman,
with Father Brost and member of the immediate family heard the vows.
Mr. Ronald Romanowski of Gilman and Mrs. Roger Samplowski of Stanley were the
attendants.
The bride’s gown was an A-line floor length gown in [pastel orange with white
accessories and an orchid corsage. The maid of honor, the bride’s daughter, wore
a gown of a princess style in bright green with white accessories with a
carnation corsage.
The groom and groom’s attendant wore dark suits with a carnation boutonniere.
A beautiful wedding cake was made by the bride’s daughter.
The reception was held at Decker Country Club for the immediate family following
the ceremony.
The newlyweds spent several days in West Chicago visiting at the groom’s son,
Dennis and family.
After a week they will reside on a farm in the town of Taft.
