Michur, Josephine (13 Oct 1900 – 4 Feb 1974)

Josephine Michur, 73, died at the Sunset Home, Stanley on Monday, February 4, 1974. Josephine Andruskiewicz was born October 13, 1900 at Scranton, Pennsylvania. On November 9, 1920 she was united in marriage to George Michur, who preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Chapel, Thorp, on Thursday, February 7, 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. John Puerner officiating. Burial was made in St. Hedwig’s Old Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons: Edward Michur Jr., Muscatine, Iowa, Kenneth Michur, Thorp, Jack Michur, North Chicago, Ill., Dan Michur, Owen, Tom Coates, Thorp, and Bob Mendalski, Waukegan, Ill.

Surviving are three sons, Ed Michur Sr., Thorp, Stanley Michur, North Chicago, Ill., Adam Michur, Withee; two daughters, Evelyn Coates, Thorp, Estelle Mendalski, Waukegan, Ill.; nineteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Anderson, Detroit, Mich., Leon Andruskiewicz, Gilman, Frank Andruskiewicz, Withee; four sisters, Harriet Pietrzen, Owen, Jeanette Drake, Honolulu, Hawaii, Bernice Piwoni, Glenview, Ill., and Theresia Krempel, Chicago, Ill.
