Komon, Marie (16 Jan 1882 – 5 Feb 1974)
Marie Komon, 92, died at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley on Tuesday, February
5, 1974. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic
Church, Lublin, Friday, February 8 at ten a.m., with Rev. Thomas Falkowski
officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Bruno Wisz, Joe Losiewicz, Edward Depa, Louis Komon, Richard
Mueller, and John Szemraj.
Mrs. Komon was born January 16, 1882 in Czechoslovakia. She was married in 1902
to Frank Komon, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Henry Komon of Milwaukee; one daughter, Anna Norton,
Thorp; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and one sister in Europe.
