Winter, Kevin (Spec. FFA Trip - 1980)
Kevin Winter, a member of the Granton Future Farmers and a junior at Granton
High School, has been notified this week that he has been selected to attend a
national leadership conference in Washington D.C., this summer.
Kevin is one of eight students in the state to win the all-expense paid trip
sponsored by FFA Alumni. He is the only winner from north central and western
Wisconsin.
The FFA conference program is designed to improve leadership skills and prepare
FFA members for more effective leadership roles in their chapter and community.
Besides the training sessions, the members will get an opportunity to visit many
of the historic sites in Washington D.C.
Kevin, 16, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Winter of Granton. He vocational
agriculture instructor is Francis Steiner.
