Neillsville Dairy Days (Local Winners - 1980)
Local winners are announced: Gordie Vine has a new critter to take care of at
his rural Granton residence. Vine was top prize winner in the Neillsville Dairy
Days promotion held this past weekend. Vine had a choice for his prize of either
a heifer calf or $100 in cash.
Ten other winners also were announced, each receiving certificates worth $10 om
Dairy products. Selected were Dennis Wallace, Barb Opelt, Merna Poeschel, Matt
Gassen, Ole Sage, Dr. Roger Heineck, David Cooper and Margie Haven, all of
Neillsville; Earl Chubb, Granton; and George Florence, Pittsville.
