Emrich, Emma M. (10 August 1883 – 9 June 1980)
Emma M. Emrich, 96, passed away in Neillsville Memorial Home on Monday evening,
June 9. She was born on August 10, 1883, in Chippewa Falls to Phillip and
Caroline Emrich. She was self-employed as a practical nurse for many years and
resided in Chippewa Falls. In her later years, she had been a resident of an
Augusta nursing home prior to moving in 1976 to the Neillsville Memorial Home.
Miss Emrich is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, June 11, from the funeral chapel
at the Pederson and Volker Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Donald
Schumwalt of the Zion United Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls officiated.
Burial was made in Forest Hills Cemetery in that community.
