Marine Captain Thomas G. Tomkowiak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Tomkowiak of 100
W. Grant Street, Thorp, returned to the Marine Corps Air Station in Iwakuni,
Japan after a six-week training exercise in the Philippines. He serves with
Marine Attack Squadron 533, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing.
A 1969 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, he joined the Marine
Corps in September 1969.
