The William Micke family of Route 2, Stanley, Wisconsin, was recently honored by
Tri-State Breeders for being one of the two top herds to be recognized in
Tri-State’s 1973 Herd Recognition Program. Micke’s 56 cows averaged 17,940 pound
of milk, 3.9 percent and 703 fat on official test.
Mickes’ accomplishments were recognized at a special luncheon and tour of the
farm late in January. They were also honored guests at Tri-State’s Annual
Meeting held at Westby, Wisconsin.
