Roberta Amundson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Amundson, Thorp, today, April
15, 1974, was announced as a winner in National Merit $1,000 Scholarship, which
is a one-time, nonrenewable award, that is allocated on a state basis.
Miss Amundson’s field of study is Pharmacy.
Her achievements at school include: National Honor Society, Yearbook Editor,
tow-time local winner Mathematical Assn. of America Contest, Band and Chorus
Awards, Gymnastics team, Girl’s Athletic Assn., Pep Club, Spanish Club, and is a
member of the Honor Roll.
