Kleinschmidt, Jesse J. (4 December 1980 – 6 December 2021)
Jesse J. Kleinschmidt, 41, of Altoona, passed away unexpectedly on Monday,
December 6, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Eau Claire.
Jesse was born on December 4, 1980, in Marshfield, to James and Susan (Krause)
Kleinschmidt. He was a graduate of Spencer High School, and later earned an
associate degree in Natural Resources from Fox Valley Technical College.
While attending college, he met his future wife, Lori Behm, and was married on
June 21, 2008, in Waupaca.
Jesse spent his days working at Menards Distribution Center where he was a
warehouse supervisor. He also had a part time job working for Pan O Gold. When
not spending time with his family, you could find him in the great outdoors
hunting and fishing. As the story goes, he knew all the best spots to find the
biggest bucks and the largest fish. Many great stories could be told of all the
hunts and trips that he was a part of. Jesse will always be remembered for his
caring personality and contagious smile.
Although Jesse is no longer with us, his family is comforted in knowing he
helped countless other people with the gift of life through organ donation.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Lori of Altoona; daughters, Addison and Sierra
Kleinschmidt; parents, James and Susan Kleinschmidt of Spencer; siblings,
Timothy Kleinschmidt of Spencer; mother-in-law, Nancy Behm of New London; step
mother-in-law, Julie Behm of Waupaca; and many other extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen & Lilas Kleinschmidt, and
Ernst & Berdeanne Krause; aunt, Mary Kleinschmidt and father-in-law, David Behm.
His family would like to send a special thank you to the Critical Care Unit at
Mayo Hospital and the UW Madison Organ Donation Team.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, December 17, 2021,
