John R. Boardman, son of Melvin J. Boardman, 207 E. Elm Street, Thorp, was
awarded the Doctor of Medicine degree at University of Wisconsin, Madison
commencement ceremonies on May 18, 1974.
The class of 126 new physicians is the largest ever graduated from UW-Madison,
according to Medical School Dean Dr. Lawrence G. Crowley. A reception was held
for the new doctors and their family members by the medical faculty immediately
after the commencement ceremonies.
Dr. Boardman will continue his medical education as a resident at the University
of Utah Affiliated Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah.
