Popowski, Henry J. (12 Jul 1923 – 7 May 1974)
Henry John Popowski, 51, of 161 Dorsey Roade, Bel Air, Maryland, died on
Tuesday, May 7, 1974 at Harford Memorial Hospital.
A requiem mass was celebrated at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, Bel Air, on
Thursday, May 9 at 10 a.m. Interment was at Memorial Gardens in Bel Air.
He was born in Lublin, Wisconsin on July 12, 1923, son of John and Pauline
Popowski. He was a veteran of World War I. At the time of his death he was
employed by Western Electric in Cockeysville, Maryland.
He was married to Anna Jarmoluk on June 22, 1951.
He is survived by his wife and five children, John Joan, Gregory, Daniel and
Michael; also three brothers, Ted and Raymond of Lublin, Wisconsin, and Walter
of Chetek, Wisconsin; and two sisters, Bernice Plucinski of Lublin and Bernice
Mnichowicz of Dowagiac, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leon, and a sister, Jeanette
Chesky.
