The election of Richard A. Schultz as assistant Vice President of Thorp Finance
Corporation was announced this week.
Schultz serves as field operations administrator for Thorp’s 85 consumer fiancé
offices in Wisconsin.
Since joining the firm in 1959 as a trainee in Monroe, Schultz has served in
various managerial capacities. Later he was assistant manager of the Janesville
office. In November 1961, he became manager of the Racine branch, and two years
later he opened the Kenosha office, which was Thorp’s 101st branch. In 1964,
Schultz became responsible for a number of branch offices when he was named
regional supervisor. He assumed the role as Field Operation Administrator in
1972.
