Lesniewski, Mr./Mrs. Joseph (40th – Jun 1974)
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lesniewski, 98 E. 13th Street, Antioch, California observed
their 40th wedding anniversary June 12, 1974 at the Marchetti’s Club of Antioch,
California, with a dinner hosted by their five children.
The Lesniewski’s were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Wausau, June 12,
1934.
The Lesniewski’s, formerly of Thorp, are owners of the Home Radio and TV, member
of the Pittsburg Little League Team. Joseph was a former pilot for the local CAP
unite, members of the Holy Rosary Parish, former members of the Contra Costa
Building and Trade Council representing the Electricians Union Pioneered
Television in Contra Costa County, has been in business in Contra Costa County
since 1944. Joseph is a member of the ZP (Polish National Alliance Lodge).
Their children are: (Shirley) Mrs. William Morgan, (Barbara) Mrs. James Whitely,
(Connie) Mrs. Robert VanPelt, Joseph and (June) Mrs. Robert Haynes. They have
ten grandchildren, Faith Morgan Camann, Jeanette and Paul Whitely, Anthony and
Troy VanPelt, Chad, Joel and Amy Lesniewski, Wendy and Shirley Haynes, and one
great-grandson, Christopher Camann.
Joseph is the son of Mrs. Mary Lesniewski of Thorp, and Mary is the sister of
Mrs. Frances Smigaj of Thorp.
