Danielewicz, Steve (6 Nov 1914 – 3 Jul 1974)

Steve Danielewicz passed away July 3, 1974 at Sacred Heart Hospital at Eau Claire. He was born November 6, 1914 in Chicago, Illinois and came to the Thorp area with his parents. He was married to Alice Pagel on December 17, 1938 at Thorp.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Sauerwein of Ellsworth, Wis., and one son, James of Tucson, Arizona; three sisters, Mrs. Stanley Pietrzak, Mrs. Helen Sokolowski, Mrs. Mary Dombrowski, all of Chicago; and two brothers, Chester and Zigmund of Thorp, and five grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at St. Bernard’s Church, with Father Bill officiating, and he was laid to rest in New St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews, Henry and Ernest Danielewicz of Chicago, Dennis Danielewicz of Rockford, Dick Danielewicz of Wausau, Norman and Donald Danielewicz of Thorp.
