Anderson, Elmer C. (10 Oct 1893 – 1 Jul 1974)

Elmer C. Anderson, 80, route 3, Stanley, died Monday evening, July 1, 1974 at his home. He was born October 10, 1893 in LaFayette County and moved to the Stanley area as a small boy.

Mr. Anderson was married to Lula Kleinschmidt September 28, 1922 in Marshfield. The couple farmed in the Stanley area until retirement. He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Stanley, and an original member of the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include a son, Robert, Stanley; a daughter, Mrs. Allan Hoeting, Detroit, Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles, Gilman and Julian, all of Stanley; and a sister, Mrs. Norma Witt. Stanley.
