Noah, Thomas V. (27 April 1961 – 17 December 2021)

Thomas V. Noah, age 60, of Thorp, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021.

Thomas Verlan Noah was born on April 27, 1961, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Verlan A. and Darlene E. (Frese) Noah. He was raised on the family farm in the Town of Reseburg, rural Thorp, and received his education in Thorp Public Schools. After high school, Tom worked for Rochester Silo, before becoming employed pouring concrete and as a heavy equipment operator for Dairyland Construction, in Stanley, for 20 years. He then became employed as a heavy equipment operator at Haas & Sons, in Thorp, where he had worked for more than 20 years.

Tom was a hard worker and took pride in his work. As hard as he worked, he played harder. He knew how to have fun, always had a smirk on his face, and was nicknamed “Bologna” for good reason. Many nights his garage was open to friends for laughs, camaraderie, good tunes, and the occasional sunrise. He was kind, respectful, and always ready to help others out. He especially loved fishing, hunting deer and coyotes, and spending time outdoors.

Tom will be dearly missed by his wife, Louise, of Thorp; one daughter: Melinda Noah (Brandon Falkenberg) of New Richmond, his mother: Darlene Noah of Thorp, five sisters: Kris (Gordy) Meyer of Eau Claire, Sandy (Joe) Milz of Oregon, Peggy (Jeff) Paczkowski of Thorp, Joie Noah (Gary Grenke) of Iola, and Susie (John) Bieno of Oregon; one brother: John (Holly) Noah of Thorp; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Amy Noah, in infancy.

Private family services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Thorp. A Celebration of Life will be held for the public to attend in the Spring of 2022.
