Olsen, Audrey K. (14 Apr 1945 – 8 Dec 2021)

Audrey Kay Olsen, 76, Loyal, died on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at the Marshfield Medical Center, with family by her side. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30, from 5-8 p.m., at The Vin-Yard in Loyal.

Audrey was born on April 14, 1945, the daughter of Arthur J. and Beverly M. (nee Pieper) Olsen. She graduated from Loyal High School in 1963. She married Dennis Olson, whom she later divorced. They had one son, Patrick, who passed away in 2006. Audrey was a secretary and bartender for years before becoming a foster parent for several years while living in Chippewa Falls. The last 15 years while living in Loyal she sewed and made quilts and worked at Kwik Trip.

She is survived by her brother, Bill (Dori) Olsen of Arpin; a daughter-in-law, Sue (Dave) Thurs of Edgar; two grandchildren, Hannah and Jaron Olson of Edgar; and nieces, nephews aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Patrick, in 2006; her brother, Jim; and several aunts and uncles.
