Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Seaman, route 3, Thorp, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carol, to Richard J. Boyarski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Casimer Boyarski, 315 W. Main Street, Thorp, Wisconsin.

Carol is a 1972 graduate from Thorp High School and is employed at ITT Life Insurance.

Rich is a 1968 graduate from Thorp High School and is employed at the Thorp Implement.

A November 16, 1974 wedding is being planned.

Seaman, Carol Marie (16 Nov 1974)

St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp, provided the setting for the marriage ceremony of Carol Marie Seaman and Richard Joseph Boyarski, on Saturday, November 16, 1974, with Father John Puerner performing the two p.m. marriage ceremony. Ricky and Randy Haas, cousins of the bride, were altar boys. Roger Truckey was organist, with Cheryl Janicki as vocalist.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Seaman and Mr. and Mrs. Casmer Boyarski, both of Thorp.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Donna Seaman was her sister’s maid of honor, and bridesmaids were: Janet Herman, friend of the bride, and Mrs. Robert Osebold, sister-in-law of the groom.

Robert Osebold, brother of the groom, was best man, and groomsmen were: Bradley Seaman, brother of the bride, and Denny Hedler, friend of the groom. Ushers were Bruce Seaman and Gibby Voelker.

A supper and reception for 300 were held at the Quonset Hall, Thorp, with a dance in the evening, with music by the bride’s uncle, Eddie Haas.

The new couple will make their home on route 2, Thorp.
