More than 75 incoming freshmen at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls have
been awarded Foundation Scholarships.
Among the recipients is Peter Nied, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nied, Route 3,
Thorp. A recent graduate of Thorp High School, Nied plans to follow a pre-law
curriculum at UW-River Falls.
