Pawlak, William A. (10 Feb 1935 – 21 Aug 1974)
William A. Pawlak, 39, of 127 W. MacArthur Ave., Eau Claire, died of a heart
attack suddenly at work, Wednesday morning, August 21, 1974. He was born
February 10, 1935 in Thorp, and was married to Patti Prock in June 1961 in Owen.
He was employed at Uniroyal and worked in the shipping department.
Survivors include his wife, one son, Kurt, at home; his mother, Mrs. Bertha
Pawlak, Thorp; four brothers, Walter, Wheeling, Ill., Robert, Eleva, Thomas and
Andy, both of Thorp; and two sisters, (Estelle) Mrs. George Hieber, Wheeling,
Ill., and (JoAnn) Mrs. Dennis Luecks, La Crosse. His father and one sister
preceded him in death.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 23 at Trinity
Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jack Olson officiating. Burial was made in Forest
Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rick Feuerpsfiel, Russ Schulz, Jerry Knickerbocker, James Koger,
Jack Genrich and Mike Brenizer.
