Bishop, Alice (28 May 1884 – 15 Aug 1974)

Mrs. Alice Bishop, age 90, died on Thursday, August 15, 1074 at Thorp Care Center, Thorp, Wisconsin. Born May 28, 1884 in Mineral Point, she was the former Alice Chamley. She had formerly been a Madison resident and Mineral Point resident. Mrs. Bishop was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dirck E. Blawusch of San Diego, California, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Bud Bishop of Thorp; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1946, and son Bud in 1973.

Funeral services were held at the Grace Episcopal Church at 10L30 a.m. on Saturday, August 17. The Rev. James A. Braun officiated. Burial was in Forest Hills Cemetery. The Schroeder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
