The appointment of James E. Tuite as Vice President and area General Manager of
ITT Thorp Corporation was announced today.
Tuite will be responsible for the operation of ITT Thorp’s 87 branch offices in
Iowa and Minnesota.
Tuite, a member of the board of directors of ITT Thorp, joined the firm in 1972
as Vice President, Marketing. In that capacity, he was responsible for the
company’s business development program. Before joining ITT Thorp, he was account
supervisor for McCann-Erickson, Inc. in New York.
