Robert Elkins, Thorp, was re-elected to serve until 1978 on the Wis. State
Association of Veterans Service Commissioners at a state meeting held at the
Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, Wisconsin, Saturday evening.
At the same time he was appointed by President George Bredesen, Friendship, to
serve the group’s Legislative Committee for the coming year. Elkins has served
for the past 29 years as County Veterans Services Commissioner for Clark County.
