Commander Chester Zajack and Quartermaster Fran Harycki of the Veterans of
Foreign Wars of Thorp and their wives, Ann and Carolyn, attended the fall VFW
Convention for District 9 at Chetek, Wiscosnin on Sunday, September 15, 1974.
After the noon luncheon they attended a meeting, at which the Thorp Post won an
award for having 100 percent paid-up dues.
