Mroz, Shirley Ann (9 Nov 1974)

Miss Shirley Ann Mroz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mroz, Thorp, became the bride of Gary Lee Kostick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Kostick Jr., Thorp, on Saturday, November 9, 1974 at Assembly of God Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. Gerald Christensen performed the eight p.m. marriage ceremony. Harold Bolles was vocalist and Hugh Kamp was the organist.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white floor length organza gown with long sleeves, stand up collar, French lace spotted with pearls on wrists and around the collar and along the bottom of the dress, ruffles on bottom gradually going into a sweeping train, also on top. She had a bonned veil and carried a cascade arrangement of white carnations with greens and straw flowers.

LuAnn Aronson was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Trudy Mroz and Darlene Mroz. Flower girl was Elaine Grajkowski. They wore deep turquoise blue gowns with long sleeves, stand up collar and empire waist, with matching blue ribbon. Ruffle on the top and on the bottom of the organza material completed their gowns. Each carried a cascade arrangement of blue carnations, straw flowers and satin ribbons.

The bride was employed by Dr. J. R. Ashbeck and the groom is with Lakeland Plastics, Inc., as an extruder operator.

A inner was held at Anchor Inn, Chippewa Falls.

They will make their home at 9515 Bryanmawr, Rosemont, Illinois, 60016.
