Peggy Knar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Knar, Stanley, became the bride of
Arnold Truck, son of Mrs. Louis Truckey and the late Louis Truckey, in a double
ring ceremony performed by Rev. Leonard Kaiser at Holy Family Catholic Church,
Stanley, at 1:00 in the afternoon. Roger Truckey, brother of the groom, was
organist, with Cheryl Janicki as vocalist sang “Walk Hand in Hand”, “Wedding
Song”, and “On This Day.” The Bride’s March from Rebecca was played as the
bridesmaids marched, and the Trumpet Shall Sound as the bride was given away by
her parents.
Kathy Knar was her sister’s maid of honor, and bridesmaids were: Mary Ann
Truckey, sister-in-law of the groom, and Nancy Cesafsky, friend of the bride.
Flower girl was Lori Truckey, niece of the groom.
Rich Broda, friend of the groom, was best man, and Joe Truckey, brother of the
groom, and Bill Knar, brother of the bride, were groomsmen. John Knar, brother
of the bride, was ring bearer. Ushers were: Ken Wojt and John Verkuilen, friends
of the groom.
A reception for 400 guests was held at Rainbow Gardens.
After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, Northern Minnesota, Michigan and
Canada, they will be at home at the Thorp Trailer Court.
The bride is a 1973 graduate of Stanley-Boyd High School, and is employed at ITT
Life Insurance Corporation. The groom is a 1972 graduate of Thorp High School,
and is self-employed.
